Haunui
We don't usually bring in yarns that cost more than $30 per hank - it's a lot to invest in a project - but when we do, we have really good reason to do so. This time, we have the opportunity to introduce you to a breed-specific, limited-edition natural-colored wool from New Zealand: Haunui.
From Knitting Fever / Noro: "Haunui is a fusion of New Zealand Halfbred and Fine Romney stock, line-bred for generations to ensure the very highest quality. The sheep are never mulesed. From New Zealand, the fleece is exported to NORO, in Japan, where it is lovingly carded and spun. With great respect for the wool’s natural qualities and as per Noro’s exacting standards, fleece is never over processed."
