NEW CLASS: How to Doodle with Jamie Lomax

A top-bound spiral sketchbook is laid just off-center in the middle of a white background. To the right of the notebook is an uncapped pen. To the left of the notebook are an array of rainbow-colored capped pens (laid out in ROYGBIV order). Text on the open page of the sketchbook reads CLASS: How to Doodle with Jamie Lomax (Pacific Knit Co.). Saturday, May 31, 3-5 PM @Stilly River Yarns
Join us on Saturday, May 31 for a class with the Queen of Doodles herself, Jamie Lomax!
Jamie will be teaching her How to Doodle class from 3-5 PM.
No need to run down to Seattle or wait for one of the local festivals - she'll be right here at Stilly River Yarns!
Class cost is $75 - get all the details and sign up by clicking the button below!

Crafty gatherings

A rectangular image that runs from orange at left to orange on the right, with orange and yellow leaves falling in the background. Text reads Crafty Social Times: First Tuesdays, 4-7 PM, Third Saturdays, 9 AM - noon
On the first Tuesday of most months, we'll be open until 7 PM - we call this Stilly River Yarns After Dark. Swing by after work or school to get a big chunk of work done on your current project, or just stop in to say hi. Our next Tuesday night social will be on April 1, 2025.

We also host social gatherings each week - you're welcome to come for the whole thing, or just hang out for a little bit. It's a great way to meet new people and get inspired by what you see others working on. Here are our current regular socials:
Tuesdays, 1 - 3 PM: Community Crafters
Saturdays, 9 AM - noon: Rise & Shine Social Time

We now host the Stanwood-Camano Spinners for their monthly evening meetings. No matter how new or experienced a spinner you are, come spin with us from 6-8:30 PM on the third Thursday of each month. The second quarter dates are April 17 and June 19; there will not be spinning group in May due to the Puget Sound LYS Tour.

And if you can't make those days / dates... the social table is open any time the shop is open! Come on by and get a few rows done on your current project while you're killing time between errands or appointments, or come and hang out for a couple of hours.

Information for visiting the shop in person: 2025

Land Acknowledgement

We honor the first peoples of our area by acknowledging that our location is within the traditional lands and waters of the following communities: stuləgʷábš, People of the River, Stoluck-wa-mish River Tribe, the Stillaguamish Tribe of Indians; the Tulalip Tribes and their ancestral bands; the Cayuse, Umatilla and Walla Walla peoples; and the Upper Skagit Indian Tribe and its eleven predecessor bands. These groups have inhabited this area for thousands of years; their descendants have remained here, actively practicing and re-establishing traditional activities and beliefs, to this day.
