Welcome to the community.

Providing a safe, accessible, supportive space for fiber crafters to bloom and grow since 2017

First round of spring/summer classes are up!
A beanie crocheted in coral pink at top with a grass-green brim. It looks like a watermelon, so there are small black seeds sprinkled over the crown of the hat.
A woman wearing a grey sweater, grey work pants, muck boots, and a green stocking cap kneels next to a sheep with white and brown wool. The sheep looks like he is smiling.
A fuchsia beanie knitted in two different ribbing styles is posed on a mannequin head.
Hats - especially beanies - are always useful to have hanging around. Our first set of classes for the spring and early summer revolves around them:
2 basic beanies - one knit, one crocheted - and a stashbuster knitted hat that will get a place in regular rotation in your queue.
Check out the details on these class offerings by clicking the button below!

Crafty gatherings

A rectangular image that runs from orange at left to orange on the right, with orange and yellow leaves falling in the background. Text reads Crafty Social Times: First Tuesdays, 4-7 PM, Third Saturdays, 9 AM - noon
On the first Tuesday of most months, we'll be open until 7 PM - we call this Stilly River Yarns After Dark. Swing by after work or school to get a big chunk of work done on your current project, or just stop in to say hi.

We also host social gatherings each week - you're welcome to come for the whole thing, or just hang out for a little bit. It's a great way to meet new people and get inspired by what you see others working on. Here are our current regular socials:
Tuesdays, 1 - 3 PM: Community Crafters
Saturdays, 9 AM - noon: Rise & Shine Social Time

We now host the Stanwood-Camano Spinners for their monthly evening meetings. No matter how new or experienced a spinner you are, come spin with us from 6-8:30 PM on the third Thursday of each month. No reservation necessary, just come on in! The dates for the second quarter of 2026 are April 16 and June 18 (no May date due to the Puget Sound LYS Tour).

And if you can't make those days / dates... the social table is open any time the shop is open! Come on by and get a few rows done on your current project while you're killing time between errands or appointments, or come and hang out for a couple of hours.

Information for visiting the shop in person: 2026

Land Acknowledgement

We honor the first peoples of our area by acknowledging that our location is within the traditional lands and waters of the following communities: stuləgʷábš, People of the River, Stoluck-wa-mish River Tribe, the Stillaguamish Tribe of Indians; the Tulalip Tribes and their ancestral bands; the Cayuse, Umatilla and Walla Walla peoples; and the Upper Skagit Indian Tribe and its eleven predecessor bands. These groups have inhabited this area for thousands of years; their descendants have remained here, actively practicing and re-establishing traditional activities and beliefs, to this day.
