Thank you so much for helping us make our first year on the Puget Sound LYS Tour a phenomenal one! We welcomed over 750 visitors during the 5 days of Tour, and 83% of those visitors were coming to the shop for the first time ever. We are exhausted but thrilled, and we hope to see you again at a more leisurely pace in the months ahead.
Cheers! -The crew at Stilly River Yarns
#LYSTourAfghanProject This year's Tour theme was Celebrating Community. Every shop on the Tour designed a 12"/30.5cm blanket square. We can't wait to see what you do with them! Use the Tour's official hashtag for the project, #LYSTourAfghanProject, when you share photos of your work on Facebook or Instagram.
Not sure what to do, but want to use your squares for a good cause? How about using your favorites to create a blanket for the Binky Patrol? We support them throughour Community Cause Crafting group on Thursday mornings, 10 AM - noon.
Our square and shop were featured on Friday, February 9. We're proud to present the Freedom Park Square as part of this year's Afghan Project, and if you're looking for the tutorial on the P 5-row ladder stitch, here's the video!
