Shingle Plant Shawl: 2022 Slow Crawl Crochet Pattern
Welcome to the 2022 Slow Crawl! Stilly River Yarns is one of 31 participating shops this year, and we're pleased to share our patterns with you.
Our crochet pattern is by shop owner Lindsey Spoor, and we're featuring the Juniper Moon Cumulus family of yarns. The shawl as shown uses a single skein of Cumulus and a single cake of Cumulus Rainbow; you could also use Cumulus Dégradé if you want a single color gradient instead of the multicolor gradient. The shawl can easily be extended in size by adding length to the base rectangle.
The shawl was inspired by a visit to a local micro-greenhouse, where Lindsey encountered a shingle plant for the first time - the way the leaves were growing up a wire mesh frame sparked an idea for how to use a slow gradient to best effect!
You may purchase this pattern for $10 USD if you are not participating in the Slow Crawl; if you are participating in the Crawl and have a download code, you may redeem it as a coupon code at checkout here or on Ravelry.
