Stilly River Yarns is a full-service yarn and fiber arts shop on the west side of Stanwood, Washington. Whether you're a crocheter, felter, knitter, spinner, or weaver, there's something lovely for you to discover here!
We know that your crafting time and money are precious - so let's not beat around the bush, we believe in and stand behind every product we offer. We've worked with just about everything we carry in the shop, so we can tell you what to expect from the yarns and fibers, which tools will best fit your needs and preferences, and why we think it's worth investing in these products for your projects.
We also believe in supporting and creating community. We volunteer time with local groups and institutions, participate in municipal focus groups, and advocate heartily for our local community resources such as Sno-Isle Libraries, the Community Resource Center, and the Stanwood-Camano Food Bank. As for creating community, that happens with every interaction you have with us at the shop. It's important to us that you be greeted warmly, made to feel welcome, and assisted with patience and expertise - no matter if it's your first or fiftieth time walking in! We welcome complete newcomers and expert crafters alike, and the only dumb question is the one you don't ask. (Lindsey, the shop owner, used to teach high school French. Believe us, she means that last bit. Read more about her and her journey to shop ownership over here: Lindsey's Bio.)
