Designing Visual Project Trackers: HYBRID
Let's face it: sometimes, facing the giant walls of text in a pattern can be what keeps you from starting projects. Or you get partway through and realized that... perhaps that one part of the directions does not mean what you think it means. Or maybe your brain just doesn't work well with written directions.
If any (or all) of these situations apply to you, join us for a class devoted to transforming the written word of patterns into visual project trackers! Bring a pattern that you'd like to work on - either knitted or crocheted! - any markers/pens/colored pencils that you like using, and a ruler or straight-edge tool of your choice. We'll provide graph paper, examples, and a handout for your reference.
(If you need financial assistance, please let us know in the comments section at check-out; we will let you know what we have available in the Community Crafting Fund. Your inquiry will remain confidential.)
- At this time, masks must be worn to attend all in-person group classes.
- Prerequisites: Students should be able to read basic patterns.
- Materials to bring for class: At least one pattern that you think would benefit from getting turned into a visual project tracker, pencil / pen to outline different parts of your tracker, markers/pens/colored pencils if you like working with different colors, and a ruler / straight edge tool.
- Class date / time: Sunday, September 25, 1-3 PM Pacific time - this class will be held simultaneously in-person and on Zoom.
