Mary's Visible Mending
One of the most-requested classes recently has been a mending class. We're thrilled to bring you a session with Mary Lovejoy, our shop clerk and sewist / weaver extraordinaire.
"Need a stitch fix? Join me in my mending journey to save my favorite jeans, sweaters, and other articles of clothing that need some TLC. Mending is more than just repairing your items - it's about developing a sustainable mindset to help reduce waste and extend the life of something you love to use."
This 3-hour class will cover basic visible mending techniques for both denim and knitwear. You may purchase a class materials kit for $15 or bring your own. (Please read below for details.)
Please note: we have a class minimum of 5 students for this session. If we do not meet the 5-student minimum by Thursday, March 9, we will refund your registration cost.
